Here in Albi, on an old 60GB hard-drive (yes, dear, HDs used to come in tens of gigabytes when you were little... Before you were born, I had one that was all of 20 megabyte small), I found my drawings from late 2002 and early 2003.

My first was a PC Jr. 640k RAM after extension, and 32 color CGA screen. Loved it to bits, but it STILL powers up just fine. Ah, LOGO and Basic programming. Jump Man. Infocom Text-Based adventures like Planetfall... Even MS Flight Simulator 2.0!

Yes, those drawings come from a period when I was in dire need of a carnal relationship, and I guess it shows. Most of my prior art was religious in nature (not because of any personal faith, but to follow in my forebearer's footsteps), but executed on school tables, and has gone the way of Nepalese Sand Mandalas...
I'm sure my memories of them are better than the originals, anyway ;P
I'm happy you know and love Albi. It's a beautiful, slightly sleepy town, where people are nice and know how to live the good life. I highly recommend it to those who haven't been there.
As for the US, I'm shooting for mid March, after a trip to Paraguay for the Princess's Brother's Wedding.
I liked the first one best as well. I was never good at figure drawing but that's cause I never practice. Very cool.
